My four year old Is entirely engaged with this charming rendition. He loves comic books and I search far and wide to find good quality stories combined with classy art. I feel like much of the language is over his head, but he continues to want me to read more chapters, so he clearly is getting something out of it, at least Mr. Toad's antics make him laugh.
this seemed ok. i have never read the book.

The book, if read with the same care with which it was created, will create an appreciation of nature and a relaxed feel that’s quite refreshing.
