I used to wonder where know-it-all people acquired all of the information they feel obliged to share with the rest of us.

Now I know: they read it whilst in the bathroom, and chances are they got it from this thick book that's crammed full of unrelated yet interesting tidbits.

When friends began joking that they love visiting my bathroom so they can read this book I wised up and put a pump dispenser of Purell next to it. You know, just because.
"Bathroom Reader" just about says everything you need to know about this series. Great collection of trivial (meaning trivia not meaningless) stories for short or long stays in the "reading room". Would also be good for long car rides & encouraging young readers to read out loud.
The entire Uncle John series is addicting and has single-handedly lead to many incidents of me "holding up the line" to the bathroom.

My daughter loves these books and so do I. They are jammed packed with interesting facts and trivia. We currently own five readers.
Just plain fun to read. Informative and funny.
