Typical Woody Allen film. It's New York, Allen is kooky and a sports writer, the leading lady (Mira Sorvino, looking magnificent as a tart with a heart) is kooky. Not a lot happens but the human heart is revealed. Helena Bonham Carter is there as the somewhat underwitten stressed wife. A Greek Chorus is sometimes amusing, sometimes not. It only last 1.5 hours so why not watch it?

Allen's favorite personality-the bemused neurotic, the perpetual worrywart, the born loser-dominates his plays, his movies, and his essays.
