Such a cute book. Painters paint a rainbow. Great for learning to count, learning to add, and learning about colors. Good for Kindergarden classes. Thought it was a cute book.
Again, his art is so simple. It's so creative as well. It definitely "paints" a picture for the readers. This is a story to help understand colors. Also, to understand what colors aren't in the rainbow and what colors are.
Who would have thought that there are so many books out there that can teach multiple concepts to children? "Paint A Rainbow" is one of the many books that teach counting, color naming, adding, shapes, and just how to make a rainbow. Children love challenges, and this text involves children in an active read while they are learning or participating in all of these lessons the book is teaching. This is a fun and active learning experience for children to be involved with. Help your child see the many connections books can bring to them; help them understand that many subjects connect and usually teach many concepts at once.
A good book to read to very young children or have them read it themselves. It is short and only a few words on each page. It teaches a lesson in colors, painting, and art.
A fun book for young children to read. It involves counting and naming colors. I think children would love to play with and read this book.
The painter are teaching us all the colors in the rainbow. The start with blue and purple and keep painting in two colors until we get to the last two colors red and pink. We see all eight colors painted perfectly. the last picture of the book is of the cat who tail is actually rain bowed colored now oops.
