Rick Is Sick

Rick (a bear) is sick, and his friend Jack (a rabbit) wants to play. Once Jack sees that Rick is sick, he does his best to help. I appreciate that even though Jack wanted to spend his day playing, he sat with his friend all day long and kept him company.

Sentences are short and simple. This would be am excellent book for children who are just beginning to read.

Jack is a very good friend to Rick. Rick is not feeling well, and although Jack wants to play, he decides to help his sick fiend out. He tries multiple things to make him feel better and is exhausted to the point of needing a nap.
