YUM by Daina Kalnins explores and explains nutrition and healthy lifestyles for pre-teens and kids, including how to get all of the vital vitamins every day, why eating junk food constantly isn't good, and how to keep your body healthy.

It's done in a way that's easy to understand and follow, making it simple for anyone to get a head start on a healthy lifestyle.

YUM is probably one of the best books I've read on nutrition. Usually, they're a chore to read and impossible to comprehend, but this one was different. It was written so that everyone can read it, not just those who understand doctor lingo.

Plus, it was full of interesting tidbits (did you know that dark chocolate is actually GOOD for you?) show more that made it much more fun to read. If you or somebody you know is looking to understand all things health-related, this book is the way to go. show less
