This book is a great introduction to Object Oriented Programming from a ruby perspective. For those new to programming and interested in all the hype about Rails, this book takes you from ground zero to really understanding how create powerful applications without just relying on the core Rails methods. It fills in the gaps left behind by the Pragmatic books.
This is definately amust have for programmers coming from a PHP background.
