This is a collection of short stories by the author of the "Lad, a Dog" books. In it Mr. Terhune first gives us a number of stories about one of his collies, "Gray Dawn", and then finishes up with assorted stories about dogs, especially collies. One of the stories even made me cry, it was so touching.

I have changed this book from a 'child/youth' category because these stories aren't aimed at children although they can be read and enjoyed by all.
