A short window to enjoy their rescue from the Hsktskt slavers, and Cherijo and Reever are in trouble again. Dr. Grey Veil's reach is long, and as Cherijo discovers to her dismay, his intentions more twisted than even she'd imagined. A desperate escape plunges the couple into darker and deadlier territory far beneath the surface - as secrets long kept are revealed, Cherijo finds herself once more hostage to her concern for others. Sacrificing everything may be the only way out... for one of them.
Well, I certainly didn't see this turn of events coming - and that's refreshing. Can't wait to see what type of boiling water Cherijo and co get dropped in after this. A few typos and grammatical errors, but nothing that detracts appreciably from show more wanting to know what happens next?! show less
