Thus although this book has its merits, those searching for a concise and accurate introduction to Paul's thought are best advised to keep looking. There remains a need for a concise introduction to Pauline theology that takes the entire Pauline corpus into account and incorporates the best insights of the New Perspective while avoiding its excesses. In the meantime, one is best advised to show more read Herman Ridderbos or Thomas Schreiner, or perhaps the relevant sections of the NT theologies by George Ladd or Frank Thielman. show less
