Jane Candia Coleman is an award-winning poet, novelist, and short fiction writer. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she majored in creative writing at the University of Pittsburgh and, in 1981, became the Director of the Women's Creative Writing Center at Carlow College in Pittsburgh.
