Emberley, Rebecca. (2000) My Colors/ Mis Colores. New York: Little, Brown & Co.
This board book introduces 9 colors in both english and spanish. Next to each color is also a picture of something that is that color such as a red apple. It has bright colors and illustrations on each page.
Compared to the other book in this genre, Brown Bear, Brown Bear, this book is geared towards a very young beginning reader. It's a board book which is great for little hands to hold. The illustrations look like they were cut out of colored paper and are simple but good.
