Decent book made up of several short stories of a Texas Ranger. The book tries to show that there was a good side to all bad men back then. ( )

More Chick Bowdrie Ranger stories. Part western and part detective. Excellent work by a master. ( )

This is volume two of Louis L'Amour's short stories about Chick Bowdrie, Texas Ranger, and it's just as satisfying and entertaining as the first. Above average, and definitely worth reading. ( )

As I said on the first volume of the Bowdrie stories, I like mysteries (or at least crime stories) better than westerns and short stories better than novels, so I prefer the Bowdrie stories to most of the rest of L'Amour's work. ( )
