Loved it! Funny, witchy and romantic with an "awwww" sort of ending.
I was a little slower getting into this book than I was the first in the series...when I finally started getting into it though, boy was I hooked! In this book we get to see some return characters from the first book, as well as some lovely new characters. I love that about a series like this that centers around a different couple per book. I also loved that there was a bit more to the paranormal aspect in this book than in the first. And the romance was HOT! Another thing I'm really liking about this series is the inclusion of kids into the story lines. I'm eager to get started on book three!
I really hesitate to call this one a paranormal romance. The paranormal part was very weak. I read it the same day I watched the movie Bewitched, and it fits that same niche very well. Romantic comedy, light, fluffy, fun. Nice read for a busy time of year when you can't really concentrate on something serious.
Not a strict paranormal romance -- it's more like a book that has a lead character afflicted with witchcraft in a light and bubbly way. In fact, no one seems to be the least bit bothered by the only witch in the book, except for her romantic interest who fears that she will use it to deform his, um, malehood. Not a lot of character development; a quick read for people who don't get hung up on details.
Jason Pickering Goddard has to leave his successful career as a hockey player and is induced to help out with the Pickering Foundation. Kira Fitzgerald is hired as his co-ordinatior and the two of them find sparks flying.

Pretty predictable but very readable.

Sweet and silly romance about a fundraising events organiser who happens to be a practicing white witch, and the injured hockey-player son of the trust fund who is persuaded to turn the fortunes of the charity trust around. Home for foster boys, and fairly early on it becomes obvious who the couple will adopt when they get together. There's also some very lightweight spookiness with crows and family legends.

I have the same feelings for this as the kitchen witch, a very cutesy novel, you think the charachter is going to be more witch-y but she isn't. It's a nice book and I enjoyed reading it.
