Including patterns from yarn shops all over the country plus listing additional yarn shops. I found several projects that interested me enough to purchase the book. Having knit some of these, I find the instructions to be well written, and easy to follow.
I especially enjoyed and learned from the tips found with each pattern. These were well explained and very useful to know.
HOWEVER, depending on the printing you have, there are over 17 pages of errata. These corrections should definitely be made BEFORE making any pattern.

This book contains 33 patterns from yarn shop owners across the country. Each pattern is accompanied by a brief profile of the yarn shop. On a cost per pattern basis, this is far better than most knitting books. I would have bought this book for the River Run pattern alone, but I would seriously consider making at least half of the patterns included here.
great patterns, enjoyed the information about the yarn shops!
What today’s knitters love even more than knitting is visiting their local yarn shops and stocking up on new ideas, patterns, and tons of yarn.
