Description
A totally revised version of the 30-year-old comprehensive dictionary edited by L. Orszagh. An illustrious group of linguists, translators and interpreters spent over a year working on the revised dictionary. The result is a modern, user-friendly comprehensive dictionary for all people who use English as a foreign language at a higher level.This new dictionary contains 120,000 entries from approx. 60 fields of interest. In this edition, special attention has been paid to the fields of show more biology, electronics, information technology, physics, tourism, economics, marketing and education. The classical comprehensive dictionary series is the first line of dictionaries in Hungary to be edited digitally. For the production of these dictionaries an SGML-based database system has been used. In the course of this year, the series will be expanded with the German-Hungarian, Hungarian-German, French-Hungarian and Hungarian-French versions. show lessTags
