Description
Major Alex Jansen has always had to quell the fire Janey Mackay ignites in him. Even touching her would mean death by the Mackay men. Until now, the girl of his dreams has lived in a vacuum of affection, shying away from the danger she thinks men represent thanks to her painful past. But when someone starts leaving Janey spine-chilling notes, Alex won't rest until she's completely safe and completely his- body and soul.Tags

Get out your fire extinguisher! "Nauti Intentions" by Lora Leigh will leave you in a sweat. Her stories feature hard-core Alphas who don't let anything stand in the way of 'taking care' of their women. They aren't mean, they aren't cruel...but they also leave no doubts about who runs the show.
Janey is trying to settle into life back in her hometown and get to know her big brother Natches. She's also trying to recover from the horrible incident that left her nearly dead, her wicked father and demented aunt thankfully dead, and her brother Natches injured. She's also trying to get over her infatuation of several years standing with Maj Alex Jansen, the man who rescued her, protected her, and the star of her increasingly erotic dreams show more since she was seventeen years old. But things in her hometown apparently aren't as settled as they seem...Janey has a stalker. And with the stalker becoming more and more violent, she'll have to decide whether to run, or stay and fight.
Alex knows he's too old, too experienced, and just too dark for Janey. But no matter how many times he tells himself that, it just doesn't seem to matter. So he's back in town to figure this out for good. And when he finds out about Janey's stalker? Well, let's just say Alex has some unique ways of ensuring Janey's compliance.
Leigh's latest will singe your fingers as you rip through the pages as fast as you can go. Did I figure out who the wacko was fairly early? Why yes I did. Did that affect my enjoyment of this story? Absolutely not. The joy in reading Lora Leigh (at least for me) is the lengths her heroes are willing to go to in order to claim and keep their heroine safe. Their love wouldn't be for everyone, but by God, a woman would know without a doubt how her man felt...once they managed to do something with their mouth that didn't involve sex, orders, or grunting! If graphic descriptions of wild sex offend you...don't read this book. If they turn you on...don't miss it. show less

I think that this is my favorite of the Nauti series. I love all of them don’t get me wrong but there is something about Alex that has always drawn me to him. He is all that men should be. I admired that he raised his sister, that he served his country as a Ranger and that he has worked so hard to save the town that he loves. He is arrogant, possessive, caring and loving. He is the alpha male that so many of us wish we could find. I enjoyed that he was willing to go after what he wanted with all his heart. He never backs down from Natches or anyone else in his pursuit of Janey.
I also admired Janey in that she hasn't back down in the face of so many that would tear her down. She has worked to make her father’s restaurant a success show more not because she loved her father but because she has seen what the restaurant could be. Making a success of the restaurant has been her dream for years and she puts her heart into making those dreams come true. I was a little disappointed that she was so down on herself. While we all want to be independent not everyone can protect themselves from a determined stalker. It takes a lot for people to get through to her that she isn't to blame for the abuse Natches suffered and that there was nothing she could have done to stop it. It is a journey to see her change from the meek little mouse to the proud passionate woman that Alex brings out in her.
There is a crazy stalker that makes Janey's life miserable and it was a little bit of a surprise to find out who that stalker is. The last few chapters are very sad, so much death and misery. There is quite a bit of hot steamy sex I mean it is a Lora Leigh story after all. These two burn the pages with the passion that they release. Overall this is a good story that will leave you wanting to find out about certain characters and if they will have stories. show less

Incredible. I couldn't believe how good this book turned out to be after the hit that was Natches' story. This was sad, pipping hot, sweet, funny, had compelling characters and a very good plot.
2.5 stars
Nauti Intentions started out good, but ended up falling flat for me. I felt that Alex and Janey were a bit underdeveloped. I thought their attraction to each other was genuine, but it didn't go past lust for me. Janey was looking for love because she had to hide any emotions she felt from her father or he would use it against her. Alex was a hard man who didn't believe in love. Honestly, I felt that Janey was willing to settle and deserved better. Alex wasn't a bad man by any means, but he was just too hard for her. Their HEA didn't ring true for me and all the sappiness at the end had me rolling my eyes. The mystery concerning who was stalking Janey wasn't much of a surprise, nor did the reasoning make much sense. I felt this show more was the weakest book in the Nauti series. show less

Can you say HOT!! I've always thought that Lora Leigh had a flair for the erotic, but Nauti Intentions is right up there with the best. The love scenes in this book will send shivers down you spine and leave ladies wondering where they can get their own Major Alex Jansen. Oh Alex isn't perfect by any means, there were times in the story where I wanted to slap him upside the head, but he certainly made this story worth reading.
Janey Mackay wasn't half bad herself. The feisty Mackay daughter character was very well developed. I would have liked to have heard more about her in the previous stories, but Lora did a great job of presenting show more her character in this novel.
The Nauti series itself deserves high praise. I'm making my way through Lora Leigh's series and so far this one has turned out to be second on my list. My first favorite is the entire "Breed" series, which includes the cats, wolves and coyotes. I have to say though, so far I haven't found a Lora Leigh book that I totally hate. Another good series to check out by Lora is the "Bound" series. For now this one is complete, although since she added Nauti Intention, I'm wondering if we might see something that includes Rogue and the sexy sheriff?
Description:
Since he saw Janey Mackay taking a dip in her bikini, Major Alex Jansen has had to quell the fire she ignites in him. Even touching her would mean death at the hands of the Mackay men. Until now, the girl of his dreams—and fantasies—has lived in a vacuum of affection, shying away from the danger she thinks men represent. Alex sets out to prove her wrong, with his torturously slow caresses. Everyone thinks Janey's safe now, with her abusers dead. But when someone starts leaving spine-chilling notes, Alex won't rest until she's completely safe. And completely his—body and soul. show less

As always Lora Leigh delivers a hot hot book. I loved Alex, he is sexy and strong. Janey was not my favorite leading lady, a bit wishy washy for me. I am so looking forward to Rogue and Zeke's book.
Alex and Janey are a super hot couple!! This book really delivered on the story!! I was with it from the beginning!! I love Janey sowing her wild oats and befriending Rogue!! Steamy, steamy, steamy!
