The Last Fix

I am a big fan of these Scandinavian novels, even though I don't read them as often as I used to. But I always look for more by the authors I like a lot and Dahl's one of them. Frølich and Gunnarstranda are back and as interesting as ever. I do hope they'll translate more of his novels.

A good story with well developed characters and lots of Norwegian atmosphere.

Slow moving but a great ending.

Gloom and doom. I forget how it ended. Maybe I didn't read it all.

Hoofdinspecteur Gunnarstranda en zijn assistent Frank Frølich onderzoeken de dood van de jonge Katrine die gruwelijk verminkt is gevonden na een personeelsfeest in een afkickcentrum. Hun speurtocht brengen hen in contact met veel mogelijke daders. De onderzoekslijnen komen mooi bij elkaar maar het is nergens superspannend.
