I can not gush enough about Rachel Hawthorne's writing. As usual she has many lovable characters and a real sense of life. This book reminds me why I've never had roommates. I'd have no friends left after some of the stunts pulled in this story. It also reminded me that sometimes we all have difficult friends and sometimes we are the difficult friend, but if you are true friends it will all work out in the end. (ok sappy moment over)
Jennifer and her two BFF's in the whole entire world decide to spend a summer together before they go their separate ways to college. You can think of it as a sort of good-bye party. The girls borrow Jen's grandparent's island house where they are completely independent and have to pay for everything themselves (including food and bills). They work at a camp resort part time where Jennifer meets this dark, handsome biker named Dylan who is about to enter the army at the end of the summer. She falls for him as time passes, but summer is ending much quicker than she thought.
