Hmmm, four stars or five? Five for the sex, and four for Chase's inability to 'let go' of his past? "Only Pleasure" is the next book in Lora Leigh's 'Bound' series and is the story of the brother of the hero from her last book "Wicked Pleasure". If you want more of the backstory, check out my review of WP.

Kia has wanted Chase for longer than she wants to acknowledge...even before her messy divorce. But she would never have cheated, it's just not in her nature. So when Chase is the man who asks for her help to keep the Club a secret, even after her husband tried to force her into a menage, she agrees...with the proviso that the Club will pressure her husband to a congenial divorce and ensure he doesn't 'bother' her anymore. Kia spends show more the next two years withdrawing more and more from society and friendships...no ties means no betrayal, right?

Chase wants Kia...BAD. But he's also sure the delicate woman wouldn't be able to handle his dark side. And Chase's motto is 'Only Pleasure'...no relationships, no ties...only pleasure. So when he and his 'third' spot Kia in a dimly lit bar, Chase finally approaches her. He's elated and bit scared by how quickly Kia begins to burrow under his skin, so he runs...and returns...and runs...and returns...well, you get it. Even he knows they can't continue like this, something...or someone...will have to give.

Perfect Lora Leigh; a tortured hero, a heroine with moxie, and two men looking to give a woman pleasure beyond her dreams. Whew, let me just fan myself for a bit! If you like Leigh's books, you'll love this one. If you don't, then quit reading about them!! Neither I, nor my Freudian subconscious, want to know why I love her books...I just do. So there!

Two years ago, Kia almost destroyed the club by revealing its secret to an untrustworthy friend. She promised Chase that she would undo the harm she had caused, and she did--by retracting her story about a horrible experience with her ex-husband and another club member. Now, Kia is withdrawn and unhappy. She must learn to trust herself and others again in order to be happy.Chase has held back from Kia. In the past, he was the tender, comforting third in his brother's relationships. Now, he feels himself falling in love with Kia, and that terrifies him. He will have to overcome his own fears and protect Kia from an unknown danger before he can admit his true feelings for her.I haven't had the time or energy to read much lately. There's show more been so much going on in my life that I just couldn't seem to pay attention to the books I've been trying to read. That being said, this book sucked me in. It gave me the distraction I've been needing. show less

Good book and good story with compelling characters. I really like how Lora Leigh put the more heavy drama in this series and not in some of the other ones. Some things could've been explained in a few less pages and speeded things up a little, but the book still had a comfortable length that insured we got the whole story and its important points.
This is Chase Falladay's book. I think that he is my second favorite alpha male in this series. I mean there are a lot of wonderful number of hot males but several stand out as the absolutely the most wonderful. Chase is also a torture male that I have a weak spot for. I felt so bad that he had to shoot Moriah in Cam's book. That shooting really did effect him more than he let anyone know. Both of these men have had such a very bad life that they deserve a happy ending. I also like that Chase fights so hard to keep from admitting that he loves Kia. I am glad that it all works out though.

I didn't think I would like Kia. I remember her from the earlier books when her husband tried to rape her with a third and the rumors of the Trojans show more started circulating around Alexandria. I was surprised that Kia did as much as she did to make the rumors go away. She proves that she is the perfect mate for Chase. She challenges and dares Chase throughout the book. I am sure there are times Chase wishes he could tie Kia to a bed permanently so he could have her all the time. Kia is also brave and a little reckless. I am sure she will give Chase gray hair eventually with her antics.

We see more of Daniel Conover and Sebastian in this book. I would love to see both of these characters get their own stories. They have always stirred my imagination.

This story is a great addition to this series. I hope that Ms. Leigh continues to write more of these books. This is one of my favorite series of books and I always look froward to the next one.

Hot read on a summer's day! Lora really knows how to turn up the volume.
Re-reading these in order. Interesting flow. Finally got to read the book before the twins books and it didn't seem to flow into the next ones storyline wise. Khalid was introduced in Cam's story and is here, then has his own book. Interesting reading, but not a lifestyle choice for me.
It's definitely supernova hot, but I just didn't fall in love with the hero or heroine. I really liked Khalid though, so maybe I'll feel more connected to his story.
Can I just say, yummy? Chase is too sexy, Kia needs to be more sexy. Cam is still sexy and so is Khalid. I had no problems sleeping after reading. But I don't like having sexual dreams when I have to wait to have hubby til the weekend. It so sucks. :D
