This was a nice follow-up "read" to Where Bluebirds Fly: Inside the World of Roger Tory Peterson and Virginia Marie Peterson.
This idea of clearly heard birdsong separate by a distinct, emotionless species announcement is now quaint and of a different time... I find it charming and love to watch our cats react to it.

Okay, so Peterson Field Guides Eastern/Central Bird Songs isn't a book - it's a CD. One that I got for free. I'm sure any member of the Natural Science Book Club understands what I'm talking about.
Anyway, I only added this to see if LibraryThing would accept its ISBN. They do.
