What happens during and after the quake with God's help really hits me in the heart and gives me so much to ponder. A book everyone should read and use in their own life. If each one of us use their gift to help others, sure would be a better place!

The Gifted is one of Terri Blackstock's most intriguing novels. A massive natural disaster leads to an even more earth-shaking supernatural transformation in the lives of three friends who have no idea why they've been spared or infused with these distinct gifts.

A quick easy read that gets its point across in a moving way. Three people are trapped in a building during an earthquake and each finds themselves with supernatural gifts that allow the spreading of God's word to those in need if they work together.

However, by the end of the book they come to realize that the gifts they had aren't necessary to spread the Word, the power of the message and normal human abilities is all it takes.

Three friends, rescued from the rubble of an earthquake, are at firt simply glad to be alive with no major injuries. They soon realize, however, that something much more miraculous happened during the earthquake.
