Fun little cozy that's part "Warriors" (the MG cat novels, not the movie) and part "The Cat Who". In these mysteries, the cats talk and have a sort of mythical/mystical back story. Though not as cleverly written as the first Cat Who novels, I would read more of these.
This is an interesting story. I very much enjoyed the characters, who were were well-fleshed out, and the background story. The writing style is easy-to-read, allowing for a quick read. I recommend this book.
Ryan and Clyde get marries on Valentine's Day. Fortunately there honeymoon in the California wine country, while expensive because of all the antiques they buy, is uneventful.. The events are taking place back in Molina Point! Ryan's dad, Mike Flannery, is now working the the MPPD on cold cases and one gets kind of personal. He rediscovered an old flame whose former fiance disappeared the day before the wedding. With help from all, clues crop up to point the at the right perpetrator. Of course, one of the main witnesses and aiders is non other than Joe Grey and he's not talking - well, he is, but he can't, if you know what I mean.

Meanwhile a feral cat named Sage is found terribly hurt after a vicious cat fight. Sage grew up with Kit and show more therein lies another possible romance.

Read on as the events unfold and things come together in another wonderful tale of murder, mayhem and talking cats.
