Crane (BA, Wheaton College; JD, University of Chicago) is the Frederick Paul Furth Sr. Professor of Law at the University of Michigan Law School and a frequent contributor on legal issues in national news media. Besides multiple scholarly articles and books, he is also the author of the suspense novel Girl-with Egg Basket.
