This is such a realistic story, and sweet as well.
We have two sisters. The older one, like older sisters everywhere, is very protective of her younger sister. She doesn't jump rope, or go to school, or sew a button without making sure her sister is safe. And her sister lets her, until one day she's tired of having cookies and lemonade managed for her, and tired of being told how to do things and when.
So she leaves. She leaves her house, and her block, and goes right to an empty field where she lies down and thinks about things for a while.
And when her worried big sister comes out the door, the little one stays still and doesn't answer, and doesn't answer, until her older sister sits right down and cries.
At this point the little sister show more does just the right thing, which she's learned from her older sister. And as they go home, we're told that they now protected each other, and I cry.
It's just a very sweet story, one I really recommend for any sister. show less

I love this book beacause it is simple looking and it really shows how an older sister can go from being over protective of her little sister to learning from her little sister.
Sweet story about sisters and things that go wrong. Shows that sometimes even though you are older you can still learn lessons from younger ones. Great to read for any student with siblings.
This is a heartwarming story about two sisters. The little sister decides to run away from her overprotective big sister. She goes to think, and when her sister comes looking for her she hides. She hears her sister crying and decides to go over to her.
In the beginning of this book, big sister helps little sister do everything. Little sister starts to get tired of big sister telling her what to do, so she ran away into the daisy field. Big sister came looking, but could not find her and began to cry. Little sister came out and comforted her, and from then on both sisters comforted each other.
This book relate the relationship between two sisters, the older and the younger. It outline what they can accomplish each and how they love and care for each other.
Such a cute and wonderful story about two sisters and their love for one another! So sweet!
