2. Write the summary of the book.
Every four years since 1896, except during times of war, the best sportsmen and sportswomen in the world have met together for Olympic Games. The games are always changing, and not everyone think that the changes are good ones. The first major problem is money. Money is important for athletes but also for the city where the games are happening. Some people think that the Games have become more about selling than about sport. Is there another way to pay for the Games?
3. Write your feelings about the book in details.
Perhaps there should be fewer spoets, especially in professional sports which already have their own competitions. Football lovers are more interested in the show more football World Cup than in Olympic football(See p 27).
It's true. For me, I prefer watching the football World Cup to watching Olympic football because it's not the highest level of the game.
4. Write the words, phrase or sentences that impressed you most in the book and explain why they impressed you. Or you could write your questions about the book.
In Helsinki, he broke the world marathon record by six minutes―and it was the first marathon he had ever run(See p11)!
It's unbelievable fact that he broke the record by six minutes and it was first marathon for him! show less
