Very pleasant and dreamy. Soothing. I can see a toddler wanting to hear this.
Lovely, and fun, but much less saccharine than the cover implies.
Now for a very weird question. I just realized I had Susan Jeffers and Bev Doolittle mixed up in my head. Any guesses why? This book sure doesn't look like anything Doolittle would have illustrated.

Filled with large pictures of animals and natural things, this book's large print and subdued colors make it ideal for bedtime reading. Younger children enjoy the pictures while older children can begin to follow along.
Poetry like a lullaby. Beautiful illustrations.
