The rare unpublished fifth North American edition of Psychedelic Prayers, these loose leaves were intended such that each leave served as a currency "script". They were produced by Leary's wife Rosemary in Montreal after their separation when Timothy was a fugitive. Only 100 sets were printed, in purple ink. Each poem was on a separate leaf, and the text varied the most in this edition, with some texts necessarily being truncated to achieve Leary's desired aesthetic, which was his paramount concern. Leary reportedly expressed particular satisfaction with this edition. The border design of sacred plants was executed by Michael Green and the calligraphy is by Daniel Raphael. In this edition is 49 of the 55 original poems. Here are 51 show more leaves, containing all the poems, and the front and back covers. Ships in mylar covers in binder. This edition is sited By Rosemary Leary in the preface of “Psychedelic Prayers: And Other Meditations” published in 1997 show less
I read this in 1973 and it had a profound influence on my life.
