Like most collections-of-chapters books, very uneven in quality, unfocused, and even inconsistent in nomenclature. A couple of useful chapters I found myself referring to a decade after I first got the book, but several others that I'll never need to glance at. Academic, not popular press, so dry, analytic, and with even less focus on being useful.
