Book description
Visiting Pilate in Jerusalem, Theophilus is present when Jesus is brought before the Procurator as a traitor to Caesar and a Jewish heretic.  Even as Pilate is washing his hands, the scourged Christ looks upon Theophilus, saying: "I will be your friend, Theophilus.  I will never leave you.  Remember that."  Those words were to alter the entire course of Theophilus's life--and the world's destiny!
