Description

Joel Warner has been given the ability to control one’s voluntary functions. Joel’s power has put his decisions for good and bad at a crossroad. He fights within himself to do the right thing, but Joel’s friend Nate entices him into making money with his power. Joel also has a wonderful girlfriend named Jill who tries to help him keep his power in check. She believes that he could live a life without having to use this power, but understands his angst in the way he should use it. Joel show more reads books from a retired psychologist who lives in North Carolina. He finally meets this woman to see if she could help him deal with his newfound power. Her advice and listening ear aren’t enough to keep him from abusing his power. His road is filled with moral dilemma which in turn creates an interesting ending. show less
