Friends Charley and Sam are plagued by visions of a strange world beyond time and space. These dreams turn into reality when a violent storm transports them to the fantasy realm of Akahlar.

Akahlar is a place of magic, mythical creatures, unicorns and griffins, and mysterious, purple-tinged storms known as the Changewinds. The Changewinds are chaotic storms that alter the physical shape of everything they touch, man and beast. A wizard warns a major, destructive, and unavoidable Changewind is coming.

The Ahkbreed, a group of sorcerers seeking to dominate all universes by controlling the winds, dominate the land. Charley and Sam are swept into this conflict, with Charley becoming a pawn in a larger scheme involving the wizard and the show more forces of the winds. show less
