This is one of these books where the sub-plot is more interesting than the main one. Peaches just sounds really irresponsible af with her pregnancy and all that and she encourages Claudia to neglect her homework. BTW eighth grade has started yet AGAIN...

Mhich begs the question, are all the girls actually dead and stuck in hell where they have to repeat eighth grade for the rest of eternity?
One of the popular Baby-Sitters' Club series, this book tells of Claudia's aunt, Peaches' pregnancy and miscarriage. It also mentions Claudia's continuing sense of loss following her grandmother's death (in Claudia and the Sad Good-bye, reviewed below). Incidentally, Peaches does have a baby further on in the series.
