Do The Right Thing by Former Republican Presidential Candidate Mike Huckabee was a GREAT book!

It covers Huckabee’s campaign, the people, the places, the commercial flights. It’s a fascinating look into the “Greenest” campaign for President that ended sadly without Huckabee being nominated as the Republican-choice for President of the United States.

Secretly I wished I’d see reference to “that nice family in Wisconsin” that Huckabee met along the campaign trail, but I enjoyed the book even without such a reference.

Huckabee lays out in his book the idea that “Doing the Right Thing” is somewhat a ‘thing of the past’ and that our Nation needs to get back to that basic idea and attitude. “Vertical Politics”, the show more “FairTax” and other great political positions kept the pages turning for me.

I had trouble putting this one down and was delighted that Huckabee’s political-language was still simple-enough for a non Poli-Sci-Guy like myself to enjoy and learn from!

I don’t think we’ve seen the last of Mike Huckabee in the political realm. I’m looking forward to hearing, seeing, and reading much more from this fascinating politician!
