This inductive study challenges us to test our faith to prove it authentic based on attitudes towards the Church, our tongue, hunger for the Word, wisdom and more. Most of the content was excellent, and the practical application good; while there is no leader's guide the participant guide has great notes and cross references. The format of the participant's guide is great. Each chapter includes: The Contect, Kesy to the Text, and Truth for Today. Along with these, MacArthur's commentary, cross references and word definitions give leaders and small group participants a tremendous amount of optional material to dig deep. At times the material could get complex regarding grace/works, but it was not too theological or complex. A good challenge that drew some great discussion. Recommended for beginners - mature believes. (review 12/10/2012, Lori Cooney)
