Given the current sociopolitical situation I figured I could use some vintage humor. Cattle doing quantum physics, giant insects knocking on your door seeking a cup of sugar, monsters under the bed scared of the kid ... classics all! I'm gonna try to do a couple more of these before my upcoming birthday - nothing like old humor to take some of the sting out of aging.
Larson's Far Side cartoons always make me laugh, I relish every collection I come across. I like the dark, wry humor. I always recall the unusual activities of cows depicted, but in this collection rhinos are as often the visual punchline.
Its the second Far Side Collection! Many of these are new to me, a few them are so well known they are instantly recognizable. I also think Larson's older collections are better than his newer collections.

These are great to read when needing to kill a few minutes, or you just need to see something absurd, something that makes you go huh? than ah! than Ha!!

As always, Gary Larson delivers. Beyond the Far Side is funny, provocative, and insightful, like all of Larson's books. Unfortunately, as with most comics strips, it's either all or nothing, love it or hate it. If you like Larson, then you are guaranteed to love this book. If you don't care for Larson...why are you here?
Made me giggle here and there 😄 it didn’t blow me away
Classic Far Side - hysterical for those of us with this particular sense of humor!
Zany cartoons. Animals in odd human situations. A lovely, bizarre sense of humor. Thanks, Pat.
