The catchy title will hook children and the juxtaposition of simple but interesting facts with vivid, illustrative images will keep them reading. Definitely a must-read for children interested in animals and their behavior!
I gave this book 5 stars for the illustrations and easy reading ability for students. It's a picture book way to teach the food chain in a broader sense. It also shows students how animals defend themselves from predators. Amazing book!
This nonfiction book is about how animals protect themselves from enemies before they try to eat them. This book simply explains how animals survive by confusing or hiding from the dangerous animals. I loved that the book includes great examples for the readers to see. Some information are interesting and some are shocking. I really loved the title so much.
Setting aside the humorous title, this is a great piece of children's nonfiction that anyone could enjoy and would be especially entertaining to children. Nicely done.
