JonathanGorman Soul Stealer has a similar theme to The Crow, love from beyond the grave reanimating a man for a quest. For Soul Stealer though focus is on finding the lost love rather than strictly on vengeance. Both use various mythologies as the backdrop.

I'm not a huge fan of the art style. The almost photo-realism never quite does it for me. (I assuming that photos are actually the base for a lot of the artwork.)
A touch melodramatic, which is always ok with me. I'll keep reading to see where the story goes. I'm hoping it'll spend a little less time with the agony of the main character and spend a little more time on the actual story.
