Description
"The mortality schedule is one of the most valuable and least used portion of the U. S. census. It was taken along with the census each time from 1850-1880. Within this census is found the name of the deceased, age, sex, color, whether free or slave, marital status, place of birth (just as the regular census), death month, profession, disease or cause of death, and the number of days ill."--Introduction.Tags
