Made up of short descriptions of everyday chemistry, this is a really good way to find out just a little about a chemistry subject, but the reader will need to have a bit of background knowledge for all of the explanations. There are two levels of explanation, one for the general reader and one with a little more depth for the chemist. Neither are very long, but the breadth of topics is good.
An excellent source of chemistry anecdotes for the chemistry teacher.
