This book started with pages which had close ups of animals or plants, then in the next page it would reveal what animal or plant the close up belonged to and it explained how the feature that was closed up on was beneficial to the animal or plants. This book was set in a pond so it looked at living things on the pond, it also had a glossary at the end which covered more challenging words used on it.
