The entire Time-Life series is of good quality and while some equipment in the house may be more up to date, by giving the basis, the books remain timely.Special hints I liked were increasing the flow of water in the bathroom or kitchen, professional ways to hang mirrors, and even reorganizing a cabinet. As with most of this series there is a nice color insert showing actual rooms.
