I enjoyed this story at the time, but it did not stick in my memory. It will be enjoyable to its target audience, with a romano celtic story filled with magic and war.
In the sequel to Warriors of Alavna, Dan and Ursula fail to make it back home, instead becoming imbroiled in a world of Arthurian Legend. This one didn't command my attention in the same way as Warriors of Alavna and I struggled to get through it.
