A man sees a vision in his mirror of a girl being strangled by a man with a scarred neck. He meets the girl later and notices that the man he saw strangling her in the mirror bears a resemblance to the guy she is planning to marry…

Very short and mysterious read. Dark story dealing with visions and premonitions. Another entertaining read by Agatha Christie.
"I've no explanation of this story ...... It's just a thing that happened....."

A quick 6 page short story - what is reflected in the mirror is not always what it seems.

Christie accompanied Mallowan on annual expeditions to Iraq and Syria, which served as material for Murder in Mesopotamia (1930), Death on the Nile (1937), and Appointment with Death (1938). Christie's credits also include the plays, The Mousetrap and Witness for the Prosecution (1953; film 1957). Christie received the New York Drama Critics' Circle Award for 1954-1955 for Witness.
