I love this book! It was my first introduction to WWII when I was a boy. It has sentimental value to me because the first copy I read was my Grandpa's book passed down to my dad (my grandpa fought in Germany in WWII). I found this copy at a used bookstore in Minneapolis in 2000. I read through it every now and then and am always brought back to a point of reality and gratitude when I recall the sacrifices made for freedoms we enjoy.
