This was another great, short novel by Verne. I felt attached to the characters and the setting was very well described and put into focus for me, as a reader, to sink into. There is much adventure and it is carried on well through the prose, one event leading to the next in a seamless sort of fashion (organized still) that makes it a good read. Overall, a surprisingly good one that I recommend that you don't skip if you want to get into Verne.
