This is an interesting and well reseached biography of a fascinating women whose abiding belief was not to tell a lie to anyone and yet became a spy. She also, alone in Pais, managed to evade capture for a long time. I highly recommend this book.

The life of Noor Inayat Khan was so filled with intrigue and drama that I was sadly disappointed that I didn’t enjoy this biography. It was such a dry, sere rendering that it didn’t do service to such a remarkable woman. Recruited by the British during WWII, her career as a spy was ended by her murder at the hands of the Gestapo. However, her actions were so noteworthy that just in 2020 did she receive one of those blue memorial plaque near her London home—the first Asian woman to receive the honor. https://www.google.com/amp/s/m.timesofindia.com/world/uk/world-war-ii-spy-first-...

A heart-breaking story of courageous woman: well researched but the writing is highly simplistic and details often repeated. I was riveted to Noor´s story but, at times, felt that the author was writing to an audience of children.

A fascinating read. Knew virtually nothing about SOE agents other than having read Carve Her Name With Pride, now I want to read more SOE biographies.
Slightly sappy, but you can't deny the power or tragedy of its subject matter.
THE GRIPPING TRUE STORY OF NOOR INAYAT KHAN, AN INDIAN-ORIGIN BRITISH SPY WHO SERVED IN NAZI-OCCUPIED FRANCE DURING WWII. A TALE OF BRAVERY, SACRIFICE, AND HEROISM.
Inspiring biography of an unassuming heroine.
