I first came across this book back in 1980. I have loved telling it to my children and now use it with my clients. Its a great story for kids who worry about monsters at night and kids in general. Love this book.
This is a fantasy book that allows children to use their imagination while doing daily or required tasks. It is fantasy because monsters don't really take baths or talk to you, like the main character enjoyed during the book. The author reveals the boy as the main character by following him throughout the book and describing his actions and interactions with his family and the beast. The boy took his bath and got ready for bed with the help of a beast, and had fun while doing it all. Media:Ink and Wash
This book is great because it allows children to use their imagination while doing everyday taks. I would read this book to early elementary children.
This story enables kids to use their imaginations and imagine there is a beast in the bathtub. The shower head is the beasts mouth and all sorts of other crazy things.
This book is about a boy who refuses to take a bath because there is a beast in the bathtub. His parents keep telling him to, so when he finally gets in the bathtub with the beast, they become friends and his parents never find out that there really was a beast.
