Hans Holzer is considered the father of paranormal investigation. There has been so much written about him and by him on his professional endeavors as a ghost hunter, but this book takes a different approach.
Here we get to see an inside look at the life and times of Hans Holzer from a source very close to him, his daughter Alexandra. She has followed in her father's footsteps, so it seems quite fitting that she should provide some anecdotal material about growing up with a man who went looking for ghosts on a regular basis.
We learn about his private life, his friendships, his life as a social staple in the New York paranormal scene, and the things that made him the man he was. We also learn about his wife and her family, which can trace show more itself back to Catherine the Great.
There is so much worthwhile information in this book. If you are a fan of Holzer, or just interested in ghost hunting in general, this is a book that will give you an inside look at the life of THE Ghost Hunter. Highly recommend. show less
