2438 The Politics of Rich and Poor: Wealth and the American Electorate in the Reagan Aftermath, by Kevin Phillips (read 16 Feb 1992) This is a book decrying Republicans' tenderness toward the rich. Forty years ago I'd've lapped it up. Now I was not as enthused by the book, though I certainly agree with his condemnation of many of the pro-rich policies of Reagan and Bush.
